The Mid Atlantic Vintage Base Ball League is made up of base ball clubs from New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington that play 19th century base ball. Member clubs play base ball (2 words) the way it was played back in the middle of the 1800′s: no million dollar contracts, no steroids, and no gloves! Each club has authentic replica uniforms, use the same rules and customs of the 1860s or 1870s and use the same type of equipment used by ballists in the game’s infancy. The charter members of the league include: New Jersey- Flemington Neshanock; Delaware- Diamondstate BBC of Delaware; Maryland-Eclipse BBC of Elkton, Havre de Grace Dauntless, Talbot Fair Play BBC, and the Chesapeake & Potomac BBC.
