Welcome back to the 19th Century!
Welcome to the site of the Mid Atlantic Vintage Base Ball League. Each of the member clubs plays base ball the same way it was played in the middle of the 19th century using the same style uniforms and equipment and playing with the same rules and customs of the 1860s and 1870s. Member clubs play from the beginning of April until the end of October. The clubs come from New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC< and Virginia. Come out and see one of our matches and see what base ball (2 words) was like before steroids, million dollar contracts…and gloves!
